New League Crashing

Ok I will try to recap what I have done.

I started a new historical league using the Lahman DB - starting in 2002. I simmed through one year - then after the WS I wanted to expand adding my team as the expansion team. So I added my team and did all the expansion stuff in the Expansion FAQ Write up.

Problem is then I had a problem making the schedule - I didnt have even teams. So AFTER the Ammy Draft and FA Period I added another expansion team to even out the league. I was able to create a schedule.

But now with the two added expansion teams I try to do the Rule 5 draft and when I click the button from the standings screen (or the drop down) to start the Rule 5 Draft it crashes.

I have made sure each new expansion team has 25 players in it's majors roster.

What gives? This is the season I already had to restart after my previous 2 careers were corrupted and all I was told to do was turn off my screen-saver. I am a little annoyed. I just want to play the game.

Thinking that adding that 2nd Expansion team late was the problem - I deleted it - and tried to do the Rule 5 draft - same crash.

So is there a work around? Or do I just scrap this league also and start another one.

Would rather not as I probably put in like 5 hours today getting things exactly how I wanted them.

I just disabled the Rule 5 option in League Setup and it seems to have worked so far. Wonder if it will hit any other snags.

Nope it continues to lock up during simming.
