Batter Swings at Pitchout w/ Hit and Run On

Just noticed this... the title pretty much says it all. Was playing a game, and had the hit and run on, the AI called for a pitchout and the batter still swung at it. Even if the guy's a little trigger happy, he should be able to identify the pitchout as being way outside the zone.

I'lve seen this happen IRL before, though I understand what you are saying I'm not sold on the fact that it shouldn't be possible.

in mlb, not always are hit & runs called with fast runners at first. you could say in your case the hitter was protecting the runner. you see it in the national league.

I agree it could happen, though as I try this more and more I see it happening everytime, even with my best baserunner trying to take second 80+ speed / 80+ steal. If this is coded such that it always happens, which seems to be the case, IMO it could use a tweak.
