Player Vanishing Act

Hi,

My first post is to report a problem. Basics: Game crashes whenever I try to bring up a team page, and using "Player Trade" shows there to be no players on any rosters. The error is the standard Microsoft box that wants to send an error report; I am on XP.

Details: Custom league, the year is 2032 but this is my first year playing (I simmed a bunch of seasons to get there). I sim the day, July 29, at the end of the day "Deadline Trading" happens and I get the dialog box, "Email (trade offer), stop sim?" I say yes and the game crashes. I re-enter the game to the standings page and find that the leaderboards on the sides are both blank. Clicking on any team name or bringing a team up in the display menu crashes the game as does trying to go to the schedule page.

I can bring up the following screens WITHOUT crashing: Almanac, MAnager screen, leaderboards (but they are all BLANK!), Player Trade. Using "add player" in player trade shows all rosters to be BLANK. In addition, all positions are listed as weaknesses for every team (because, presumably, every team is understaffed).

I can open up other leagues.

It would be great if someone could help me salvage my current league, but if thats not possible I hope this at least gets fixed. Since the technical data in the microsoft error report is so voluminous I am not pasting any of it; let me know if there is a relevant section I should post. Also let me know any other information needed, I have tried to give a detailed report of the problem.
