OOTP6 keeps crashing

I can be playing the game and it will just have an illegal operation and close. Then I can't open it again without restarting my computer or it will freeze. It happens at different times and all the time. It happens in any leagues I play.

ME Operating System
P3 1Ghz
256 MB ram
DirectX9
Radeon DDR video card

Same here.

Usually happens about 20-30 minutes after opening the game. never happened before the patch.

I get the generic message "OOTP6 has caused an error in ootp6.exe. this program will now close. If you continue experiencing problems, please restart your computer"

Not too descriptive.

I'm not much of a computer whiz, so I don't know all the options to try.

I have defragged it
The PC automatically runs Norton Antivirus each time I boot up.
I haven't reinstalled the game yet....because I don't want to inadvertently ruin any of the current leagues I'm running....especially the dynasties
This may be a dumb question, but where would I go to download the game again? The original link?

I've got:
ME Operating System
P4 20Ghz
128 MB ram
DirectX 9
I have no idea of what type of video card I have.

I have defragged and done a scan disk. I did get it from the original link.

I have the same thing. The strange thing is it gets worse as the seasons advanced. I always had some crashes but now the game is unplayable. Everytime I try to play a game it crashes. I checked my line up and pitcher and found no errors. I can sim the games but cant play them out. This is a game killer. I tryed to start a new game with the defualt rosters and it starts cashing over and over from the start. And the restarting of the computer is getting old as well. I feel bad for the online leagues that switch over to 6.

What we really need is some info on when the patch will be out and if they cant fix the problem tell us how to get our money back.

Tic-toc tic-toc. Anyone? Any news on a patch other then " It will be released when its done" crap. Or how to get your money back?
