Historical Sim Crashing during Game 8 of 1902 World Series
Hi!
As stated above, I'm having troubles with my 1902 World Series. It has come to down the Phillies and the Orioles, and the Phillies are up 4-3 heading into Game 8, but when I sim, or play, Game 8, the game crashes, giving me an 'OOTP.exe has to exit' error. At first I thought it had something to do with the Phillies winning the series, but then It occured to me that through all my attempts to complete the game, the Orioles must have won ONCE! Now there's an important foot-note to all my problems. I just got a new computer, and backed OOTP6 up on disked and transfered over to my new computer. But it made me install the licence again, using my second licence. No big deal, except on my new computer, my Main Drive is the F: drive. So I'm wondering if this might be a problem, as some of the game files might still be pointing to the C-drive, as I never actually installed the program again. Any ideas? Or have I ruined my OOTP6! Thanks! Specs: Pentium 4 3.20Ghz Memory : 2GB, OCZ PC3200 Windows XP Home Free disk space: 194GB

Nah, moving it isn't the problem. You can move it every day and it should work right as long as you keep all the files.
Have you checked the lineups for those teams? |

octones has it right, it is the 8th game of a 9 game World Series.
And yes, F is the boot drive. I just checked all the line-ups, and also generated auto-lineups and ran computer manager on them, no dice. I'm going to find the CD I have the league on and switch it to a 7 game World Series and see how that works, just incase.

I loaded the league from my CD, and it worked as a 7 game World Seires, with Baltimore this time meeting Pittsburgh and winning 4-0.
So problem solved, thanks for your help everyone!
