FA Signing Major League Contract Mysteriously Changes to Minor League Contract

First off, this is something I found in OOTP5, not OOTP6, so I don't expect this will be fixed, but I'd like to know:

1) Has this been reported before?
2) If so, what causes it?
3) Do I have to now go through every FA signing to make sure they are correct?
4) Does it happen in OOTP6 as well?

This particularly bothers me because it could be seen as favouring my team in the league that I commish.

Anyways, I was going through what extensions I might want to make later in the season and found a player, Sisi Saiha, that I was certain I had signed to a major league multi-year deal was now somehow signed to a minor league contract. I checked the transactions report [http://www.simrc.net/kbl/reports/ttrans16.html], but it showed the multi-year deal that I had offered and apparently signed the player to. So I decided to track down where it happened. I make backups after every sim and I eventually found that the player in question was signed to this minor league contract the sim that he was signed during the FA period (I can provide the backup). On the same day, but during the next sim, he was promoted to AAA, so that's not it. I, of course, did not edit this contract (it does make him much cheaper for me, but it also makes me have to try to resign him and possibly lose him) and I did run that sim. Help?

EDIT: I completely forgot (I have an awful memory). I have seen this in other leagues before, for awhile now! http://www.ootp-leagues.com/mbs/cbl/...d.php?tid=1626 I sure hope it's fixed for OOTP6 or gets fixed.
