Help please

Its a wild stab in the dark but wonder if anybody can help with my question....

When I start a new league using Halofans updated (05/01/04) rosters the game seems to crash within the first few weeks of the season.

What happens is that I usually make a fair number of trades to and from my team (The Blue JAys).

I then sort out my depth charts pitching rotation etc and start playing the game.

within the first 5 or so games when I go to the schedule and click 'Play' on my game and get throught to the lineup (the screen where the players are compared) and actually try to click to go into the actual match itself the game throws up an illegal operation and aborts to windows.

I have tried simming through that days games but it just stays stuck when it gets to simming my game.

Its major annoying cos I get my team ready then have to start over again.

I am running the patched version of OOOTP 6
