Game lockup

I have recently been running through a career from 1902 to present, updating team names, leagues and divisions in the year in which it occurred in real life. Everything has been going great till I recently went into the 1994 season and set it all up (adding Florida and Colorado and realigned into 3 divisions/league). I went to schedule to simulate the first month of the season and it plays my game then locks up. I get out and get back in and my record (plus the team I played) is updated and nothing else. In addition the 2 white rectangles that update the league leaders as games are simulated are not present. Each time I go to simulate it plays my game and locks up.

Any ideas about what went wrong?

Did you update with a new schedule? Also, are all lineups and pitching rotations complete with no players double-listed in the lineup? Those are the only two things that spring to mind for me.
