Game crashes at exiting and opening player pages

Running 6.01, Windows XP, p4 1.99gHz, 256 MB RAM

Game has crashed 5 times since I've been playing, 3 times when exiting from the game and twice while opening player pages.

Exiting game: Game finishes saving ("saving game" bar is full), but locks up before dropping to desktop.

Player pages: In two different places--once from a team transactions and once from a team lineup, the game has locked up while attempting to open a player page (left-clicking player).

I have a somewhat similar system but with more RAM and have not been able to duplicate many of the crash senarios. Whatelse is running when the game is open?

No other applications, and it doesn't look like any other processes (this hasn't changed since playing OOTP6.) I don't have anti-virus software running either.

I have been having a similar problem as well. I am running Win XP Sp1, Intel 2.6 GHZ, 1GB RAM. Sometimes when playing out a game (I usually play out all the games), as the game ends and the box score is being created to open in the new window, the game crashes with the last player report being created and the new window has already been opened. A box pops up saying that OOTP6.exe crashed and when I hit okay, the game is shutdown automatically. However, when I open the game again, that last day was saved and nothing is missing. It is frustrating however.
