How many times do I have to say, "No"?
I enjoy OOTP a bunch!
But one thing that is starting to really bother me is how many times I have to say, "No" to a trade offer when simming. I have to click the "No" button several times, sometimes I have to say "Yes" just for the game to respond. I have had occasions when I say, "No" and the game says it is "finishing the day". OOTP locks on me and I have to hit ctrl alt del and says the game says it is not responding. Can this be looked at in the next patch please? |

You need to give me ALOT more detail about your system, no one that I recall has mentioned this problem and it is possible that it is something to do with your system.

I've had this happen. After all the day's games have been played and the game is finishing the day, a message will pop up saying that you an email and do you want to stop sim. You have to click the No button a few times to get it to finish. If you click yes, once you go back to your schedule after checking the email, the game will automatically go to the standings page after each game that you've simmed, whether you want to or not. Since that was a pain in the neck, I just click no and let it finish before doing anything else. Hope that description helps.

Vezna -
You have to click "no" for each email you've received. I'm not sure if this is by design, but that's where it all stems from. - Dan

Ahhh...got it. I was wondering why I had to click it 2 or 3 times sometimes. Cool. Thanks.

Having to answer each email was an issue from OOTP4 that has finally been addressed ... before, you'd get multiple emails, but so signal you needed to acknowlege them. The button wouldn't change color, nothing. The game would sit and wait for an answer without telling you it was waiting for a click until your cursor left the response box and entered it again. The only way to know what was going on was to be contantly moving the cursor in and out of the box until the dialog disappeared. Markus has finally fixed this.
