Game Problem

I've posted this before(as had my brother), so I figured I'd try it again since we can't seem to fix the problem ourselves.

The first time we got this error it happened after playing the game for like 5-10 minutes. Then we uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Now we get the error message after we try to sim, here is what the error message box reads:

Ootp6 has caused an error in OOTP.EXE
OOTP6 will now close.

And then it says try restarting you're computer if you continue to experience these problems or something like that.

Hopefully someone can help us this time as I'd like to play OOTP 6 and maybe even join an OOTP 6 league.

All help is much appreciated!

You need to give us PC INFO, OS, RAM, etc, etc, etc....as much as you can give us.

Windows ME
750 mhz
128 MB of Ram
20 gig hardrive

What exactly are you doing when this message comes up? Is sound enabled? Give me as much detail as you can.

The sound isn't enabled.

As for what I'm doing, the first time I had that error message it would come up after playing the game for 5-10 minutes no matter what I'm doing. Then I installed it again and I thought everything was fine(because I was playing for awhile, trading, etc.) and then I went to sim a day and the error came up. So I opened OOTP6 again and directly went to sim(did nothing else), and the error message came up and OOTP6 closed.

I don't know if it's simply because we have a crappy computer(then again OOTP5 worked fine) or if something in our computer doesn't make OOTP6 happy. Really confusing and annoying.

If you need anything else then let me know.

Using windows ME is not a help, but one thing to try is to close ALL other programs and as many background functions as possible.
