ootp6 will not run on my notebook
When I try run the game I get these two error messages:
CreatSurface: Backbuffer An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function, or the object was not in a state that permitted the function to be called. This value is equal to the the E_INVALIDARG standard COM return value. And after that lengthy denial, I get another window that says: Error: InitDirectDraw My notebook has: 160mb RAM 2 gb free in the hd directx9 366 processor speed. So I think I meet the requirement to run the program. Any help or insight that I get would be most welcome. I am really looking forward to playing this game and enjoying it has much as In have enjoyed the previous versions. Thanks for your help! |

Go into the OOTP folder to the "game config" file, open it and toggle the 3D setting.
