Can I upgrade my OOTP5.11 to OOTP6?

I have a license for OOTP5.11.

I try to use that license for the newest version, and it doesn't work, saying the license is not in the database. Do I need to buy a new license for OOTP6?

yes, it is a new game not an upgrade. It is well worth the money.

OOTP is not a game that can be upgraded as some, each version is a totally new purchase.
