Not sure if this can be considered a bug
Whenever I'm actually playing out an AL game, whenever I try to pinch-hit for my DH, the current DH still has his AB, his run on the bases, and is only replaced once the inning is over.
Is this a bug? EDIT: I'm using the current patch |

I don't think that's a correct statement gmo, hasn't this always been an issue, even in OOTP5?
Regardless, substituting for a DH (whether as a PH or a PR) is not currently functioning in OOTP6 and is a known issue. There is a workaround for pinch hitting, however. Put the pinch hitter in BEFORE the DH gets up to bat. (e.g. You know you are going to PH for your DH. Your DH is on deck. Replace him now. When the guy at the plate is finished batting, the PH will be entered (as DH)). There is no workaround for PR for a DH that I know of. Of course the PH workaround will only help if there are less than 2 outs when the DH is on deck ... otherwise if the batter gets out, the PH will come up first thing in the next inning (or if the game is over never at all, despite being listed in the box score). |
