Small, But Annoying
I have encountered a few small, but annoying bugs in ootp6 6.02.
First, when I search for players within a specific talent range, lets say 30 come up. Then I scroll down to view all 30 players that it found. Then I click new search, and perform a search that results in only 2 players. When the box pops up that lists the players, there arent any. At the bottom of the screen it says it found 2 players, but none are displayed. The only way to make sure I dont encounter this problem is to make sure I scroll back to the top of the player list after every search. Secondly, another problem with searching for players. In my league I have all skills set at the 1-100 range. In the search dialog it is updated for player talent and the pitcher/batter skills (conctact, stuff, etc) at the 1-100 range. However, it does not update for fielding range, catcher arm, speed or stealing. These are very important factors when doing a search, and the fact that the search only has 1-5 capabilities is a hinderance. Third, I have found that occasionaly for no apparent reason, a random player (usually a one star player), will have a 5 star rating for a short time. This only lasts roughly a few day of game time, and then returns to normal. His skills and talent do not change, just his star rating temporarily. I have the coach/scout option turned off so I know it isnt the result of bad scouting. |
