Big problem

During the off-season, before i rolled the game over to version 6, I deleted 4 teams(contraction). A member of my league has told me that after simming ahead thru spring training and getting to the schedule that there are 4 of one of the current teams on the schedule, and it shuts the game down when you try to sim past the first week of the season. This is obviously a huge problem and I need some help figuring out how to fix it.

i'm no mod...but have you tried clearing the schedule and re-generating a new one. usually after adding/deleting teams, that is needed

do i need a schedule generator for this or is there an option in-game to do it? if so how do i go about doing that?

Under League >> League Setup >> Edit Schedule, you can generate a new schedule for your league. It won't be the prettiest thing, but it is something. For a bit more on scheduling, there is a post in the OOTP6 Add-ons thread stickied at the top of the Mods forum.

If you are still using that 24 team, 2 league, 3 divisions per league, 4 teams per division setup, perhaps you'd like the
interleague-including schedule found here or the non-interleague-including schedule found here. There are further explanations in the files and in the thread where those schedules are, but if you need more help please feel free to ask.
