OOTP6 Kills Attendance?

Anybody know anything about this possible issue with OOTP6?

This bugs me because my team is in pretty good financial shape and so I won't be affected by this as badly as the other teams, but I'm sure the league will pass a rule to eliminate the problem. However, when you have sudden unexpected financial problems you can't just make a wish to your fairy godmother for 10M$ to solve the problems for you. I wish we didn't have to deal with this though. :/

EDIT: Perhaps the problem was really with OOTP5's attendance and OOTP6 tries to make it more realistic.

Correct. Markus attempted to make attendance in V6 more realistic (to real life).

Thanks, I thought I remembered reading something about that. I was more peeved at the solution that it looks like the league will take to resolve the problem than at the problem coming about in the first place, especially if it is just a side effect of making the game more realistic.

Teams with with average to below average Fan Interest will find it much harder to get butts in the seats. OOTP6 is supposed to calculate higher broadcasting deals to compensate.
