Shortcut won't load game

I'm using Win XP and right clicked the game exe file to pin the shortcut to the Start Menu. Won't load game, except for black screen.

Deleted the shortcut and made another for the desktop. Same problem.

Bottom line: I cannot get the game to run unless I go all the way to the nested folder and open the actual game file.

Never had a shortcut fail to work before. Any thoughts for how to fix?

Right-click on the shortcut, select properties, and make sure the target is "C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP 6\OOTP6.exe" (keep the quotes) or wherever your OOTP is located. The start-in field, E:\PROGRA~1\OUTOFT~1\OOTP6~1 (no quotes), might be screwed up too.

If that still doesn't work, I don't know.
