Problem: Error Log

I don't know if this has come up on another thread, but I am so busy at work I don't have a chance to scan through to see if this error has been addressed.

I have a 18.6 GB drive with 15.1 free.
Running Windows 2000
AT Compatible
261,616 KB Ram (computer says)

When I sim a day I have no problem. Don't know about for a week, but when I sim for a month the computer stops and I receive the following error message:

OOTP6.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.

Can anyone tell me why this continues to happen?

When I started the league and was simming the first month this happened and when I went back there were no stats but I figure it was because I had nothing saved. This happened a couple of times. I then defraged the computer and I got a month done and saved. Then on the second month this happened again. I did sim the next month day-by-day. I really would like to do a month at a time.

HELP!!!! Does anyone have an answer to this.

More than likely one of the following is the problem:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

The above might help but hot sure, is your windows software up to date with all patches, etc.?

Thank you very much. I did the Windows update and I have simmed 3 months now and have had NO problems. Thank you very much again.
