Game Crashes for no reason.

I've had this game for quite some time. I was running it on my crap machine for half a year, then transfered over to my new computer, the one I'm running now (GeForce FX 5900 Video Card, AMD Anthlon 1.60 GHz, 640 MB RAM, XP SP2). Everything was working fine for awhile. I downloaded the Lahman DB, made my historical league from 2003 and set all the stadiums and logos up.

The trouble started when I remembered I hadn't downloaded the latest patch. I went and got 6.11 and started my managerial career. Whenever I try to play my first game as the Twins, I get an error message (which I'll post in a few minutes) whenever I attempt to start the game, by hitting Pitch Normal or whatever. The weird thing is, at the first game against the Royals, when I click "Show Opponet," all the players for the Royals are in the lineup part, but Angel Berroa is the only player whose name is highlighted in green to signify he's in the lineup. I'll then go to the team page for Kansas City and see that Angel Berroa's name is in green. It's not only this league either. I've tried other leagues (fictional) and the same thing happens. I can't view my manager screen either without it crashing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I've also found out that the game will only crash in manager mode. Can anyone help?

Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling from a fresh install downloaded from the site? Give that a try first. (Not sure what happens with regards to the license whether you'll have to nuke it and relicense or not.)

Disable the In-Game Sound.

I tried disabling the sound and that didn't work. I'll try reinstalling when I have time. Thanks for the help.
