Adding more teams to the playoffs...

I want to expand my playoffs to a 12 or 16 team playoffs, as opposed to the traditional 8. How is this done? I'm also expanding my league to 32 teams if that helps.

Best you can do is get the Division leaders plus a wild card (if an odd number of Divisions).

I seem to remember there being a way to have the 1st and 2nd place teams from each division in the playoffs depending on league structure, but maybe I was imagining it.

I believe you are limited to no more than 4 playoff teams per league. If you have 4 divisions, the game will only allow division winners, and the only way to get 2 wild cards is with 2 divisions.
