Light colored pull downs

I had to reinstall ootp6 and im having tranparency problems now.Its like none of the lines are coming out that seperates everything. I remember this happenign when i first got the game, but i dont remember what i did to remedy it. I hope i explained what im talking about ok. Any help would be appreciated

Go into the “game”(OOTP, ITP, etc) folder and open the "game config" file, toggle the 3d setting, close those things and try the game again.

If that doesn't solve it, go to start then run and type dxdiag and hit enter. The direct X utility will open and it will let you know what version of direct X you are have installed. If it is less than v9 go to http://www.microsoft.com download and install v9, reboot your computer and then try the game again.

One of these two things should get things going. Please let me know if you are still having problems after trying both of these.
