OOTP Team Export Problem

For some reason, I cannot export team files from OOTP6. The problem started today for the first time. I've disabled firewalls and all sorts of stuff and I still cannot export. Whenever I try, the game freezes and I get an "Export Failed" message. This is with multiple online leagues, so I do not believe it is the settings. I did just apply the new XP security download, but eveything else seems to work fine.

Any ideas?

Also note that I can import team files fine, I just cannot export team files with any success. Thanks.

From what I understand, this ordinarily has to do with firewalls. I used to live on a collegiate campus that would never allow me to export via FTP. If you're on an independent ISP, though, check your XP firewall settings. Other than that, I can't be much help as I never figured out a way around it until I moved and got a new ISP.

What's odd is that exporting worked and I haven't changed anything as far as my firewall is concerned. I've even turned off both my personal firewall and the hardware firewall in the router. Still no success.

the XP security downloads automaticy turns on the XP firewall. It sounded to me like you are running another firewall also and you turned that one off. thry going to your network connections and looking to see if windows is firewalling it.

if you already tiurned off the windows firewall then just ignore me

Yea, Windows firewall is disabled (I use Norton's firewall). The only program that is having this problem is OOTP6. I can upload via my FTP programs, but for some reason OOTP6 isn't exporting. I even re-installed the game and still no luck.
