I am attempting to run a relegation/promotion league using MLB teams and their minor-league affiliates. Therefore I need some schedules made.

All the leagues are a 1-league format

Top Tier league -(162 games) has 18 teams, 3 divisions of 6 each - I'd like twice as many games within one's division and then balanced against the other 2

Bottom tier league (162 games) has 12 teams, 3 divisions of 4 each, same format as the top tier league

AAA - 154 games - has 6 divisions of 5 teams - I'd like to play 3-4 series within division then balanced against 2 others then 1 or no series with other division, if that's at all possible

AA - 120 games - has 5 divisions of 6 teams, same format as AAA

A - 120 games - is broken into 7 division (5T, 4T, 5T, 4T, 4T,4T, 4T) - same format as AAA and AA

I don't know if it's possible to not schedule teams that are in your league, but if so please do that. Otherwise try and make it as few series as possible with, for example, Division 1 vs Division 7.

Thanks!!

I have a few requests for schedules - I don't think they've been posted before, but if they have, please point me in the right direction, and accept my apologies. :)

The schedules vary by the arrangement of teams in divisions. The common variables are:

- 1 Sub-League
- 2 Divisions
- 120 games per season
- 2-game series
- 1 off day after every series (so the schedule looks 2,1,2,1 . . .)
- 8 games each with every team in the other division
- all other games spread evenly with teams in your own division
- no All-Star Game
- all afternoon starts
- season begins Apr. 1st

There are the three different schedules I'm looking for, based on:

#1 - 5 teams in Division A, 5 teams in Division B
#2 - 4 teams in Division A, 6 teams in Division B
#3 - 6 teams in Division A, 6 teams in Division B

Thanks! :)

Hey all. It has been a while since I have had time to play. I saw that OOTP8 was free and I thought I would slowly get back into things.

I have a quick schedule request. I had once requested this for 6.5 and I looked on the sticky thread in this forum and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am looking for 32 teams, 2 leagues, 4 divisions per league, 4 teams per division. Totally balanced. No interleague. Everyone plays everyone else in their own league the same number of games at home as away. If I remember right, it was a 180 game schedule when all said and done.

Can I get one of these? Like I said, I didn't see it in the stickey. This is my dream MLB format if MLB would do this too.

I think I've just learned something the hard way...

I tried to create my own "variance" from the game-generated schedule by merely moving games around (deleting the game from the original date, then creating another game between the two teams on my selected date).

Apparently this causes a problem when playing out my games - it's trying to tell me I don't have a game for another 2 months, because the game I moved isn't until then, despite me having a scheduled game today. Is it because of the Game ID's?

If so, okay, I just learned my lesson. So then I'd just have to go into the XML file and change all of the Game ID's to line up correctly?

Schedule format:

Each team plays the 24 non-divisional teams in their own pod 3 times(3H or 3A)---thats 72 games; therefore you only play non-divisional games vs. teams in 3 specific divisions(example: Division 7 will play divisions 5, 6 and 8 only)

For the remaining 90 games, each team plays their 7 divisional rivals 12-13 times

No interleague

If anyone can pull this off, you are quite talented :)

Hey everyone, I am looking for a very challenging schedule...Let me begin with my ideas to better explain what i am looking for..

So I would like to play a longer schedule than the typical MLB one, more games. I am thinking 204 games for the schedule. So with that in mind, here's where I get picky and a pain in the butt for the talented schedule makers here lol. I want my schedule to start on Easter Sunday every year, which is always changing. The earliest it can be (according to this website i use as a guide) is march 23 (actually the 22nd, but thats in the year 1818, my league starts in 1834, so i don't have to worry about that), and the latest is april 25. I am looking for the season to end in mid to late October, because i plan on planning the playoff schedule every year so that it ends very near, if not exactly on, Thanksgiving. So essentially I guess what I am asking for is 3 separate schedules if possible.

The first would be used for the early Easter calendar, so 204 games in 216 days would be good I think.

The second would be 204 in 204 days (off days with as many double headers as necessary, maybe even to make it more complicated (very very sorry) I was thinking sunday double headers would be cool during the summer months, so like 10-14 sundays in the middle summer months with double headers)

The third would be for the years when Easter is very late. Still 204 games, but i would need them crammed into about 182 days. Again double headers are just fine, great even. Definitely would like off days too, so they become a necessity.

2 Leagues
2 Division Each
20 Teams, 10 in each league (5 per division)

No Interleague Play
26 games against each team in division (4 x 26 = 104)
20 games against each opponent out of division (5 x 20 = 100)
If you can make the All Star Break for the 4th of July that would be great, if not don't worry about an All Star Break, I will make it during the offseason.

Typical series length of 4 games would be cool, but obviously that doesn't matter too much to me and isn't even possible completely I know. But yea, if anyone wants to take a shot at this, that would be awesome. Thank you very much

Thanks for your time.
