Lightbulb Historical FaceGen team packs project

About to start a mammoth project here and I´d be thankful for any help finding decent historical player pics (especially pre-1960) or any other contributions to this thread.
As i´m pretty new to doing fg´s bear with me - but a mediocre team-pack is better than none at all, right?
(special thx to lukasberger for getting me jumpstarted with http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-facegens.html)

Starting with the 1967-68 Montreal Canadiens i´ll gladly accept special wishes for upcoming packs.

Done:
1967-68 Montreal Canadiens
1979-80 New York Islanders
1984-85 Edmonton Oilers
1991-92 Pittsburgh Penguins
1973-74 Philadelphia Flyers
1980-81 NHL (all teams) .... in progress
1960-xx NHL .... in progress (George Bell)

..a little sneak peek
Is it possible to create without helmets for the players or masks for the goaltenders? Most players did not wear helmets before the '70's.

not atm - the game only offers to choose between helmets & baseball caps.

I just use ballcaps for everyone until most players started wearing helmets.

dumb question. Do all files need to have the birthday naming convention. That makes more difficult then needed.

If you want them to get auto-loaded by the game, yes.

I've done some randoms from the 40's so far. Richard, Apps, Howe, Broda, a few others. I want to start tackling teams. Probably start in 1950, and gradually get some done. I want to do a full replay, and post a dynasty at some point, but wont until facegen for everyone is available.

Is there any HTML output in this game like in OOTP? That makes it easy to post visuals from the game in dynasties!

Also, how can i post my facegens they way you do, grouped, available to download?

There is no HTML output in-game atm but i think the option will eventually be available in a future update or in FHM4.

Right now it´s a simple Lightshot/Irfanview/Win-Paint cut´n´paste thingy i´m doing, taking screenies of single players and put them together in a 9-block for the preview.

Just .zip your fg´s in one pack and use the 'attachment' option to put them up.

Great work, man - especially the older ones as it´s incredibly hard to find usable pictures.
I can only assume it´s easier to find proper pics and doing fg-packs for OOTP Baseball as it´s a bit more popular than hockey in NA.

So you´re doing all teams from 1960-61 and then, whenever you got some spare time, 62,63, etc. and so on?
If yes i´ll start with 1970 after i finnished the Flyers team pack.

Just from a pure work perspective, 1960 and 1970 would feature some overlap, so in order to save even a minimal amount of time, maybe starting on 1980 would make more sense? Or, obviously, whatever you feel like.

There are alot of players to do...Anyone else feeling like tackling some?

Good point .....so I´ll start with 1980-81 and move on forward from there.
