prospects stays free agent

Hi,

i drafted eeli Tolvanen 6th overall. i tried to sign him and he refused because he wants to go to college. Now it´s past September 1st and he is still a free agent.
Will he sign with a college team or will he stay a free agent the whole year?

Normally he'd move to one on June 30, but if he slips through the offseason without doing that, he should go around November 1 (although I think there's a chance he'll go back for another USHL season as well, or back to Finland, before starting college in 2018.) Your chance of convincing him to abandon college and sign with you will get higher the older and more talented he gets, and he already starts with pretty high ratings, so you'll probably be able to sign him next offseason.
