How to get out of a Play-by-play?

I did a play-by-play of a game, and it was still tied after overtime, and went into an endless loop where the clock kept increasing but nothing happened. I couldn't find a way to stop it, except by exitting FHM. When I went back in to play the game again, it started at the beginning, but the score and shots from previous version were already there. I had to exit FHM again.

Is there a way to stop play-by-play (ESC did not work)? How does the shootout work in FHM?

Great game, looking forward to all the improvements.

Known bug, probably our highest-priority one right now. Unfortunately, there's no way out of it short of exiting the game.
