Will this game have the ability to create uniforms and logos like the baseball game ?

I was thinking the same thing. I play a lot with fictional teams in OOTP and the uniform/hat/colors/logo generator is really cool. I always thought that was part of the facegen software which I am not sure is being included in the game.

I would assume it is, the screenshots had it in, just hadnt been "hockeytized" yet, still had guys in baseball hats and uniforms.

As far as I know FaceGen hasn't been confirmed yet. The decision is dependent on some licensing issue.

As for logos archibalduk is collecting all the possible team logos from different leagues and will release big logo pack (can't be shipped right with the game due to licensing issues but should be very easily downloadable and installable). Help with logo collecting is appreciated (see the thread linked above if interested).
I don't know anything about tool for generating logos but OOTP generates logos for fictional teams (as far as I know).

if the decision ever came down to not including facegen i would be more then happy to have the ability to easily customize jerseys/sweaters and for them to take the place of the photo. I think that the alternative feature of using jerseys and numbers could work just as well in emmerging players into their game world while not having to pay a costly facegen fee. I would love to see in teams history their jersey/logo evolution along with the change dates.

With that said i really don't expect either for the first version but i certainly hope that it will be added at one point or another.

I would like the following system the most:
- real photos for real players (just make it possible and let the community to collect the photos)
- generated faces for fictional players or players who doesn't have community-collected photo

If such system is not possible for any reason then display jersey with number or something similar. Of course the system hasn't be included in the first version. It would be pretty cool though.
