No player ratings available

Hi,

Currently at a loss at to how I can get the ratings for a free agent who I want to sign. I've tried scouting various players but this does nothing, just tells me that my scout has finished the report on my scouting page. The only ratings I have available are positional ratings.

Then there is something wrong. Scouting a player should give you his rating. What league are you playing in? Can you describe in detail how you scout players?

What are the names of the specific players you've looked at?

I'm wondering whether they have been rated in the DB.

I thought that when they aren't rated they get random rating but I may be wrong on this. Those names can help anyway.

Hi,

After playing around with the scouting section I realised that the problem was that my scout had other incomplete assignments. I've become accustomed to the scouting on Football Manager where my scout can prepare several 'report cards' at one time.

Are there any plans to introduce a way which stats, or some stats, can be seen before scouting and then scouting a player provides a full picture? It is incredibly tough playing as a British team to identify people by name only and scouting is a bit of a lottery.

Just to confirm though, the scouts ARE working
