Editing generated names
I'm trying to make some small edits to the names database (mainly adding a few names to the American list), but no matter how many times I sim through, none of the changes I've made seem to be incorporated for generated players (and I have, for testing purposes, made it the occurrence of these names too high for them to be skipped over). I've been using the names.txt file in the /data/database folder. Is this file no longer used? Is there any way to edit the names database at this point?

If you give me a list though, I can add whatever name you or anyone feels is missing to the name files during my regular names updates. |

After talking with Sebastian, the names.txt file is built into the names.dat in the quickstart. So changing it won't do anything at the moment, since the only way to start the game right now is via the pre-generated quickstart. Once we allow the option of non-quickstart games, it'll read from the text file. In the meantime, as Yann said above, if you have a name you wanted added to the list, let him know and he can put it in.
