Mac users!

I am just wondering if bottom of the screen is still cut off when using a Mac. When I purchased the game previously I was unable to scroll to the bottom of the screen no matter what resolution I used. I would love to purchase the game again but was wondering if this has been addressed? I have a 13" MBP laptop if that makes any difference!

We'll I purchased the game but seem to still have the screen issue. I cannot access the full 4th line tactics or if someone is injured I can only see half of the words and do not see a recovery time! I was wondering if it has been fixed for you if you could let me know what screen resolution you use?

I just realized that I never re-setup the screen resolution after doing a clean install of the new version.

This is what my tactics screen looks like on the default setting (windowed, 1024x768):

Thanks for the reply. I cannot see the aggressiveness line. I will try that resolution when I get home tonight! What size Mac are you playing on?

I'm on a 13" Macbook Pro like you.

Unfortunately the cutoff problem is still evident during a game:

We'll I tried the settings but still have the same problem. I cannot for the life of me figure this one out. It seems like no matter what window size I choose it just stays the same. Any further help on this issue would be great!

Thanks

There isn't anything you can do about this other than report it in the Bugs thread.

This is just an error in the UI of the game, they work with fixed heights and don't have a scrollbar at the entire screen only some Widgets can have scrollbars in this game.

OOTP should really look at Football Manager's 2014 UI ( except from the Pile menu ) - that game is fully responsive.

What screen resolution are your MacBooks using? 1200x800, or something larger/smaller?

He's on 1280x800 and I don't know why that is - maybe he's on some older MacBook Air or something because the even the 11-Inch MacBook Air has 1366x768 pixels by default.

His 13-Inch MacBook Air should default to 1440x900 pixels.

My mac is set to the native 1280x800 resolution. In the FHM settings I have it set to 1280x800, windowed.

Suggestion from Sebastian, it worked on his 13" Macbook: "there is an option to hide the dock station on the bottom (it will show up when moving the mouse down). Enable that option (so by default the dock is not visible) and choose "1024*768, windowed" in FHM (NOT Maximized and NOT Fullscreen!). The game should be fully displayed."

Unfortunately my dock is already set to auto-hide so that's not the solution for me. The bottom of the screen is still cut off during games and I cannot see the home team goalie (see post #8)

However, maybe this will solve RafusedJ's problem of not being able to see the full tactics screen.

Wild guess....

Could it have something to do with the addition of the title bar? It seems that the area that is being cut off is similar in height to the title bar. Could the resolution of the game screen still be 800px high but the addition of the title bar adds another ~10px to the top?

This is where I am at now too. It's much better than it was in the past, but I still can't see the goalie and having to hide my dock isn't really what I want to do.
