What does the (F) next to a player's name mean?
Hey guys, I just got the game recently and while looking at my team's roster I noticed some of the players have an (F) next to the name and I couldn't seem to figure out what makes that appear?
I tried searching the forums for about 20 minutes and couldn't find anything so I apologize if this is a re-post. It just really bothers me that I can't figure it out lol. Thanks for any and all help provided! -Brandon |

Complete guess; are they pending FA?
If not then I'm stumped. Just went through every player (6-team NHL) and no one has an "F".

It's necessary to track foreigners because many leagues (like the OHL) limit the number of foreigners you can have on the roster. You can check for the limit in the league menu, under league rules (OHL is 2) - it is good to know this before you go and trade one of your domestic stars for a third foreigner and have to bench one of your starters because you're over the limit (not that this has ever happened.....)

Yeah, I ended up figuring it out not far after I posted this and forgot to come back and say something. My apologies. It does indeed indicate Foreign players for the reasons "edtheguy" mentioned.
Thank you all for your input and help! It is greatly appreciated! |
