Is this game prime time?

I've been following the development of this game though these forums (I pre-ordered it before it was out). I'm curious if it's prime time, legit, if it's ready for me to sink hours into trying to rebuild the Oilers, or if I'm going to be crushingly disappointing at the bugs/crashes/etc.

What say ye?

I bought it 4 days ago....to rebuild the oilers....and now it has crashed in the offseason 2017 and I have to start over I think, unless someone replies to my other message with a miracle solution.

I stopped playing after the initial "release" (non beta). It was basically the same as the beta, tons of bugs etc.

For me, the game just was not fun. Obviously it isn't OOTP yet, but I guess I had higher hopes.

I would hold off and see what the next iteration looks like before starting it up.

Couldn't even start the first season with the Penguins because of the contract bug. Started another season with another team and got stuck mid-season in the first year because of another bug. Maybe the glorified "final patch" will fix all of it. I'm not holding my breath though.

I'm in me second season running the Buffalo Sabres, picked up the game last week.

I am enjoying it. There are some issues and I'm sure many, if not most will be improved in the next patch.

But it is a playable game and many do enjoy it.

It will only get better.

It may not fix it, but at least all bugs will be fixed sooner or later. It's better then if developers did nothing. But they are moving in the right direction.

Will they? I've been under the impression that this game is getting one more patch before they start on FHM2015. While I do commend the devs with their relentless work on the game, I'm not really looking forward to buying another iteration of the game just on the hopes of them getting it to work properly at some point.

So they will be cleaned in FHM 2015. Or 2016. Sooner or later. But wil.

The game is now playable - maybe even enjoyable.

I've read that there are still issues with historical play but the regular game is fixed up enough that I have finally referred FHM to some friends.

My friend and I are having a lot of fun. It's the first iteration so it feels rough around the edges but I'm looking forward to where this is going to go.

And now it's three games ****ed up during the first season. Took the unnecessary cap hit with buyouts with Penguins, got maybe 10 games in or so, Vokoun just disappeared from the game. Ridiculous.

It doesn't look like they are in no big hurry to fix the editing function too the game.

Yeah the CTD's are probably the worst part. The second worst, touching the AI setup organisation button. Too much chance for catastrophy.

Id like when trading that teams actually consider what they need with respect to with what they are aiming. If a team is heading towards SCF territory, I dont care how many draft picks and prsopects I offer, they shouldnt give up their No1 Player.

I would honestly wait till halfway through FHM15's cycle to really give it a shot. Ive put in near on 40 hours across multiple games but the crashing is the worst.
