Doing a season with other leagues?

Hi i am new to the game and i was wondering if it was possible for me to play a season as a team in the NCAA, UPHL, Ect.

Turn them into Fictional teams in Fictional League(s) and they become playable. However,the most teams(per league) you can have at the present time is 30.

So if i just type in "Wisconsin Badgers" in the custom league menu they will be there with rosters and all?

Nope. Just the team name. Players will be fictional or NHL(your choice).

As far as I know,those Leagues you mentioned aren't playable.

I don't mind using real teams or fictional teams w/fictional players.

I know but for me it is just better to use real players.

The NCAA uses recruiting; something that will take alot of work to get implemented correctly. I'm sure it will be added one day, but my guess is that it's a ways out until it's considered.

Creating a fictional league as suggested by Orioles will not be what you're looking for.

I don't know what the UPHL is but from a google search, it appears to be an american minor amateur development league(?) and is no longer around. Minor Hockey (Amateur) leagues are not playable.
