AI GM Trade Evaluation
I'm curious, does the AI put a value on a player's statistics when evaluating a trade or are they looking at their abilities (or something else entirely)? Let's say I have a power forward who is a 6.5, but they are playing on a line with Sidney Crosby and are getting a lot of lucky dice rolls so they have 20 goals in the first 40 games: does the AI value that player as a potential 40 goal scorer or as a 6.5 forward playing with Crosby?

Ratings matter more than stats in my experience.

Kinda ot but I notice once you gett farther into the gameu see goalies rated 6.5 putting up better numbers than tuukka rask did in his prime. idk if it is just me. I'm at work right now so I can't really post any examples

I'd imagine it's probably similar to OOTP, where it takes into account ratings, this year's stats, last year's stats, and stats from two seasons ago. Off the cuff, I believe OOTP rated it at 70/15/10/5 by default, but I could be wrong.

AI GM Trade Evaluation
I doubt it takes stats into consideration. I hope the new game have AI evaluation settings like OOTPB
