Funny Injuries
Just had a player leave a game with a "Dog Bite." Methinks security at the area should be a little tighter....

Strange, that should be impossible, the off-ice injuries like that have a special code that prevents them from happening in games. I'll have to check the injury data.

I've seen dog bite, I've also seen I think ear infection, and a couple others that weren't game related.

Yeah, turns out I had a setting wrong for a few injuries. Among other things, it was possible to get a root canal during a game. Rogue dentists, apparently.

I read something about dentists who actually operated during games to help players with facial injuries but that was 40/50 years ago |

Had a guy go out for a few weeks with jock itch, basically (totally forgetting exactly how it was phrased in the game, but the word "gunk" came up and I just started laughing).
Honestly, I know it's goofy, but I'm all for the idea of leaving injuries like that in. We all know that dogs are totally welcome in Nashville, for starters: |

I just had a player who suffered a SUNBURN during A HOCKEY GAME.
That could, in theory, happen to a goaltender. But it was a winger. |
