College Basketball Text Sim?
I'm thinking of buying a college basketball text sim, and just want to get some opinons. I've played the demo of TDCB, and I like it. How is it long-term? Is it worth $30? Will I be sick of the game after 2 weeks? Is Fast Break Basketball better? Thanks for any help.

If you can hold off a few weeks I reccomend giving Total College Basketball a try. It is from GreyDog Software and if it is half as good as Total Pro Basketball from the same company it will be outstanding. It is not released yet but will be in the near future I would expect.

I'd recommend Total College Basketball. It is most likely more complete than the others and probably features the most online league activity.

IMHO, I like FBCB > TDCM, by a huge percentage. Obviously, TCB may well be the market leader in a very small amount of time, however.

I'd say to hold off and wait to see what TCB offers first, so you can compare all three.
That being said, if you end up not liking TCB and want to go with one of the others, I'd choose FBCB over TDCB. *Much* better stats, the recruiting is better handled, and it's just a better game all around between those two games.

Nice. I was actually looking for the link to those text basketball games.
Is there a NBA version? Or are they all just college hoops? edit: ignore. I just saw the sticky up top.
