You're right.

I finally got my subscription confirmation and in that email they also state:

AVAILABLE (APRIL 2) - MLB.TV Mosaic Application

They should have posted that info on their website instead of having us thinking it's not working at our end.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

If they're gonna just send me a canned response that has nothing to do with my question, why did it take them five days to do it? Lame.

3) Lots of blackouts for your local team. Works for me because I travel all the time but for some, it may not be worth the money.

That being said, despite the way I hate they treat their customers, its a good product and the quality if very good if you are a baseball nut.
You just mean premium works on auto-renewal or am I automatically signed up for another regular package for 07?

AFAIK, all annual subscriptions will auto-renew.

There actually was an "auto-renew the subscription" checkbox when I signed up earlier this week. I unchecked it. Now I wonder what happens -- I expect to be auto-renewed anyway...

the send you an email before they auto-renew you anyway. There is something to click if you don't want to be auto-renewed. It's not a big deal to me.

An update on the MLB Extra Innings Deal:

MLB has given cable (InDemand) and EchoStar (DISH Network) till the end of the month to match the offer to place the upcoming 24-hour baseball-only channel on the basic tier. If the sides agree to placing the The MLB Channel on the basic tier, the exclusivity of the DirecTV deal will be removed.

Wouldn't they also need to match the $700M? from what I've been reading, it's very unlikely that indemand and Dish will match the offer

That's what they sent me then I sent another email stating I didn't live Stateside and why couldn't my question be answered over email's, still waiting for a reply 3 weeks later, they must have a 1 question quota per season

So how is the premium package working as far as full screen goes? I just ordered the basic package and the full screen sucks, which I expected. But now I'm thinking I should have gone with the premium so I can watch full screen. Should I upgrade? Can you upgrade?

I just checked out the sample from the premium package and put it full screen and it was really good. I wish I had seen that before I ordered. I sure hope I can upgrade. The extra $30 will be worth it.

We don't know yet, the preseason games are being shown at the old resolution, the high one won't be used until the season starts.

Okay, thanks. I think I'll call them later to see if they'll let me upgrade, though I can't imagine why they wouldn't want more of my money.

We have WildBlue as our internet provider (broadband, 2-way satellite), since cable and DSL are not options for us.

Our satellite service is just about as fast as cable or DSL. The main problem is latency, which would affect things like telephony or live on-line gaming -- neither of which is important to us right now.

Any word on how MLB.tv premium looks via a satellite internet provider?

Has anyone had their credit card billed yet on the autorenewal? The reason i ask is, last year I was never autorenewed... It was a big deal, ask i just signed up after i realised it wasn't working on opening day. This year i want my $20.
