Purchasing ootp6.5??

It seems like there are a million subforums to check for this info, yet I just need to ask this simple question:

where do I go to purchase ootp6.5?

if you say the ootpdevelopments store HERE, then what version is it? because they have an 'expansion pack' but it also requires that you have ootp6.

so i am a bit confused. from what i understand ootp6 is to be avoided.

v2006 is to be avoided, v6 is fine.

As far as v6.5 goes it is just an expansion pack for v6. You must have v6 licensed on your computer or v6.5 will not work.

So if you want 6.5 you have to buy both 6 and 6.5. You then install v6 and license the game. Then you install v6.5, it goes in it's own default directory IIRC but checks to see if you have a current elicense for v6. If you don't it won't let you play 6.5. However once 6.5 is installed you can uninstall v6 BUT you can't unlicense it. Again for 6.5 to work you also have to have an active license for v6 on the same computer.

It helps. And makes me realize that at that current price, I won't be buying it. I purchased ootp8 about a month ago and also preordered ootp9.
