I'm going to take 3 or 4 pain pills, a sleeping pill, eat some turkey and chase it all with a few shots of gin and hope that knocks me out till game release time so time moves faster for me.

I have never played OOTP. I've been holding off until 9 was released.

As a huge baseball fan who has played computer Strat o Matic in email leagues over the past 3 decades, and SOM, APBA, Statis Pro, Sherco and at least a dozen other baseball boardgames over the course of my lifetime, I'm looking forward to comparing the merits of OOTP with the competition.

From what I've read, I'm thinking the game will be pretty friggin great. And I am on vacation, so I have the rest of the week to find out.
