They have there timing wrong now, the NEW BMO is up, Ian Smith bought the code and rebranded it Baseball Manager Online. There is nothing like this game on the market. There are die heart BMO Players, around 400-600 players at its peak. With the proper management, they could reach 1,000 within a year.

Yes, it will happen, we just want to release OOTP10 first. Sorry that we couldn't release OOTP Online earlier but it's just a huge project for us.

As the final patch for OOTP X has just been released, I would believe if nothing pops up that needs a fix, you would be hearing more about this and other announcements pretty soon.
Markus, Steve B, and Andreas will most likely have more just as soon as they know the last patch is going to be fine. Be on the lookout for more news just as soon as they can.

So is it going to be customizable, or just real rosters...basic rules...
If it has the power to customize like OOTPX and the option to have a commissioner that has some control over things, then I'm intrigued. But if its just going to be a free for all like popular fantasy leagues where the owners can give their teams weird names and logos such as their yahoo avatar, that doesn't sound very inviting.

There was a thread started in the main forum regarding that question on the survey, and if it was any indication, the feedback wasn't positive. Personally, I would pay for the online game (if done correctly), but the majority of posts said no way.
