I just saw this. I certainly wish Curt the best. His family has already had a struggle with cancer, so this is another setback. But they seem like a tough group, and there is so much great treatment available. Ultimately, the best treatment is positivity and determination, and Curt seems to have that in spades.

Prayers and heartfelt good wishes to you, Curt. Sometimes the biggest hearts have to fight the biggest battles, and I'm confident your strength and faith will prevail and give you all the encouragement you need to take each day at a time. A line from a movie I watched recently still resounds with me. "It all works out in the end, and if it doesn't, it isn't the end yet." Very few people have demonstrated the resilience you have, dealing with all you have dealt with, and I know you won't quit now. Be thinking of you and the family daily now.

I wish the best to Curt and his family, and I second the sentiments expressed here.

As the spouse of a cancer survivor, I know that courage and support from everyone around him will help get through what's ahead, and it's obvious that the OOTP community is hanging right with him.

I hope the Schilling family sees this thread, and know that we are pulling for Curt.
