I downloaded OOTP15, should I delete 14?
I was able to import a couple of favorite leagues form OOTP 14 onto the new version. Should I delete OOTP 14? Does it take up a lot of space on a computer? Is there any risk having two versions? Is there any benefit to keeping the old version?

There's no real risk to having multiple versions, the only downside is the space it takes up.
Once you've successfully converted your leagues, you can always just delete them from the OOTP 14 saved games directory. That alone will free up a considerable amount of space. I'd recommend making a ZIP of the directories first, just in case. You could always burn the ZIPs off to a DVD or stick 'em on a flash drive or something. That being said, I rarely find myself going back into an old version of OOTP, but if space isn't a problem, it's nice to have it available just in case. |

I'm interested in seeing what others have to say about this. I just imported all of my leagues from OOTP 12 to OOTP 14 via the OOTP 13 demo.
There is nothing wrong with the older versions. I have had so much fun with them that I almost feel I *shouldn't* be deleting them. After all, I paid for them. It sounds silly, but... I'm spending almost all of my OOTP time with OOTP 14, so there is no *logical* reason to keep 12 or 11 or 10 around. Does anyone out there feel the same way? I have the free OOTP 8 on our laptop, and I have the free OOTP 5 on a flash drive with a couple of very long-running leagues.

This feeling is called sentiment. It's perfectly normal. At least, I hope it is. I say this because I have a closet full of games going back to the DOS days that I refuse to throw away, and a hard drive full of mods and saves to go with those obsolete games. |

I have had league history problems. Our online league lost the history to almost all of our Hall of Famers. It may have lost 15-20 years of history.
I have the league files going back to version 9. I will be attempting to export stat history for ??? I have no idea how many players. Then try to import them into a later version. This kind of experiment is th eonly reason to keep an older version that I can think of. It could be acheived through archiving but I am not that organized with my video games.
