My OOTP-inspired novel has been published
Back in January I had my novel in a campaign to be published by Kindle Scout. Alas it was not chosen. But now Setheridge Press has just published, "Lord Bart and the Leagues of SIP and ALE," inspired by an OOTP dynasty league I created a few years ago.
Fantasy/SF writer (and OOTP Hall of Famer) Ron Collins calls it, "your basic steampunky 'baseball as political fodder' thriller, complete with steam-powered dogs, power struggles, career concerns, conniving of the murderous ilk, fights between rookies and vets, and a life and death, summer-long quest for the pennant. If you like fantastical, plot twisty, baseball kind of stories, this is your gig. Simply a fun read." Check out the trailer. Get a free sample. Order the print or ebook. Check out the map. Also, friends, if you do read it, honest reviews on the Amazon would be a huge help. Thanks!

My copy just arrived from Amazon today. I'm up to April 24. The chapter of the meeting on Leoran Lake was sensational. I exhaled too!
Looking forward to reading the rest.

Basing a book off their OOTP game sounds interesting. Maybe someone can do a Moneyball-esque book

I hope you enjoy and appreciate the purchase. If you do finish it, I would love it if you could leave an honest review on Amazon. Reviews help a ton, and thus far I only have one. Let me know how it goes.

I just acquired the Kobo Glo HD (much, much better than B&N Nook and more flexible than Amazon Kindle in that it reads epub files). If you tell me that it's on Kobo, I will certainly purchase a copy. Go Kobo.

I still love this story. Been reading it about once a year now since you published this great book. I always feel inspired reading through the rich stories and play by plays, so exciting! Thank you Tylertoo for such a well written story!
