Please make the game stable!
I beg you, if there is only one thing you focus on for the next release, please let it be the stability of the game. This thing quits all the time no matter what I do. It quits when I try to save, tap a button, sim a day, change the view, swipe the screen. It quits so much that I'm constantly saving and I'm actually anxious when I play the game because I'm just waiting for it to quit on me. Yes, I've tried force quitting the app, rebooting the IPad and making sure no other apps are running, but honestly no decent app should need this to run.
Please, I beg you, make the game stable. Thanks. |

I have been very happy with 2012 OOTP with vista. I have not had a crash yet. With 2008, crashes were a regular problem, so I can understand your exasperation.
Have you tried reloading the game to see if you had a bad installation? |

He's referencing the mobile version, not PC.

I've been playing every day with no problems on an iPad 2 with 64GB. Occasionally rebooting is needed when scrolling slows. Good luck.

Can anyone from the company please reply. It's now crashing whenever a notification appears at the top of the screen. It's driving bananas.

Have you tried doing a device restore? The proprietary nature of Apple tends to make these types of issues more black and white. Either everybody is having an issue or nobody is having the issue. Do you have any other apps that are large that you can test with to see if they also crash? If you are capable of running another processor heavy apps (TomTom, GTA III, etc) then your issue would in theory be happening to more people. If other apps are crashing then it's more than likely a device issue. Which can usually be correct with the above mentioned device restore. |

One game that I have simmed 15+ seasons with will crash with great certainty quite quickly. I think it has to do with the size of the .dat files. |

I'm experiencing the exact same issues. It's not the iPad, it runs every other app just fine. The issue is with this app. I also have a suspicion that it has something to do with large dat files. I've simmed 30+ seasons and it seems to be getting worse.

Same here... On iPad too
I'm having the same issues on my first gen iPad.
Crashes can occur at any time with any feature, sometimes even when hitting the home button on the iPad. I have to constantly save or I lose my progress, and I've only been through 3 seasons so far. LOVE the game, but this issue makes it difficult to recommend to others. |

First gen iPad. Never had an issue with the game, but the latest release crashes non-stop. No matter how I try, reset, no apps, it will crash about every 10 mins or so. I have to save after each week.

Since some of us do not have this problem, I wonder if you have insufficient memory left (i.e. if your iPad is nearly full with music, video, books, etc.)
My 64GB iPad is half empty. I have no problems with crashes, but once in a while the game slows (especially when I work lot of screens, as when trying to find and negotiate trades). The cure is a restart. |
