Free Agent Offers
Maybe I'm missing something or whatever, but I hate the fact that I can't see my offers to FA's and pull them back...
If I offer two SS's contracts I don't want/need both. Whichever signs first is who I want, but if I'm in back-and-forth negotiations, I don't want to make both an offer and have BOTH accept. |

If you don't want guys to sign... don't offer a contract?
You choose to take a risk at offering a backup a contract while still negotiating with your first choice. Personally, unless I'm crazy rich and can take the hit of an expensive backup, I focus on the #1 guy I want while keeping an eye on other interests but don't negotiate (except maybe a lowball offer) until the first guy decides or a bidding war makes me uneasy about upping offers. |

Yeah I think it's working the way it should. When you offer a contract, it's understood that the other party can accept it.
I've used both strategies above, but I understand the risks of each. Usually, I do as Carplos does: chase one guy as long as I'm OK with the price. Offering multiple contracts to fill one need feels like I'm tying up money that could be used bidding on another need. |

I agree with djeller. If a guy accepts a contract, I should still be able to rescind the offer. That's the way it works in real life. A contract isn't a contract until it's signed. After a player accepts a contract, you should have accept/reject buttons to finalize the deal. This allows you to chase a couple of players at the same position, so you have a fallback if you miss out on one.
