Trade madness

My 26 year old knuckleballer, Lefty Poitras, a 9th round pick in 2003, was having a terrible season (3-4, ERA in the high 6.00s) after reaching the majors in 2005 and being decent enough to be on the playoffs roster in both 2005 and 2006.

Well, then, the madness began :

Traded from Minnesota to Cincinnati on 6/9/2007 (Going to MIN: RF R. Calderon. Going to CIN: P L. Poitras)...
Traded from Cincinnati to Tampa Bay on 6/18/2007 (Going to TBA: P L. Poitras, 3B J. Guzman. Going to CIN: SS S. Ramirez)...
Traded from Tampa Bay to Arizona on 7/7/2007 (Going to TBA: CF R. Ikeda. Going to ARI: P L. Poitras)...
Traded from Arizona to Toronto on 7/14/2007 (Going to TOR: P L. Poitras. Going to ARI: P J. Suarez)...

I was the #3 starter with the Twins, got a start in Ciny, traded, 2 starts in Tampa, demoted to AAA, then traded to Arizona, left in AAA, traded to Toronto, called up but sent down before pitching.

The trade deadline is now passed, and I'm dominating 3-1, 1,97 ERA and 40:1 K:BB ratio in AAA. Twins and Dbacks were in the playoffs hunt, all others are terrible.

I played a couple of career and never saw anything like that.

LOL that's very funny.

And the Jays trading for a knuckleballer? That's a first.

Update : I was back in the Blue jays rotation the next season, but after a good strat, I'm traded back to Cincy, where I catch fire. I end up at 19-12 with a 2,75 ERA and the Outstanding pitcher award, surprising even me.

Followed that with a 19-10 season, but with a higher ERa, in the 3,60s.

Also note that I started as a reliever, picking up enough endurance to be moved to the rotation.
