Absoute Patheticness

Well my other dynasty report was cut short because of the call-up call-down glitch so I think I'll start a new guy. However this time I am not looking for a challenge. I'll start from the pathetic level. More to come soon.

Well the first month went by and I took the mound five times, here's how my stats looked:

<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>Year</TD><TD>G</TD><TD>GS</TD><TD>W</TD><TD>L</TD><TD>SV</TD><TD>ERA</TD><TD>IP</TD><TD>HA</TD><TD>R</TD><TD>ER</TD><TD>BB</TD><TD>K</TD><TD>CG</TD><TD>SHO</TD></TR><TR class=g2><TD class=s1_2>2003, A</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5.19</TD><TD>34.2</TD><TD>45</TD><TD>20</TD><TD>20</TD><TD>12</TD><TD>11</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

A losing record but 2 strong complete games and a shutout. My team is a lousy 8-18 so I hope I can actually get some run support when I start. Nothing big happened other than a couple of points going up. Hopefully those 3 losses were first month jitters because I am ready for a call-up. I need to start walking less and striking out more.

Well this month treated me well, surprisingly. I started out horrible and lost my two A games but by some miracle, I got called up. I pitched 7 strong in my first outing but my second was a little shaky. I am confident and hope I won't get called down. My double A team is 28-23, not bad. Here's the stats:

<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>Year</TD><TD>G</TD><TD>GS</TD><TD>W</TD><TD>L</TD><TD>SV</TD><TD>ERA</TD><TD>IP</TD><TD>HA</TD><TD>R</TD><TD>ER</TD><TD>BB</TD><TD>K</TD><TD>CG</TD><TD>SHO</TD></TR><TR class=g2><TD class=s1_2>2003, A</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5.77</TD><TD>53.0</TD><TD>61</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>24</TD><TD>17</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>1</TD></TR><TR class=g><TD class=s1>2003, AA</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>4.09</TD><TD>22.0</TD><TD>22</TD><TD>10</TD><TD>10</TD><TD>13</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Well, this month was absoulutley awesome. I started off with a tough loss but then won 3 in a row before finishing off with a No Decision. My shortest start was 7 innings which prooves I can go all the way. The one thing I am worried about is the fact that my walks are very high while I strike out very little guys. But my ERA is small so as long as I am winning I am very happy!

<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>Year</TD><TD>G</TD><TD>GS</TD><TD>W</TD><TD>L</TD><TD>SV</TD><TD>ERA</TD><TD>IP</TD><TD>HA</TD><TD>R</TD><TD>ER</TD><TD>BB</TD><TD>K</TD><TD>CG</TD><TD>SHO</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>2003, AA</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>4</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>2.59</TD><TD>62.2</TD><TD>57</TD><TD>21</TD><TD>18</TD><TD>28</TD><TD>12</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

This month was a tough one as I got knocked around for 3 losses. My walks aren;t getting any better! I am shocked how high they are. I am pleased with my ERA and the amount of innings I am pitching. I am learned how to pitch a curveball! I've got 2 pitches and I just bought a couple books on sliders so I am preparing. Here's the stat's:

<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>Year</TD><TD>G</TD><TD>GS</TD><TD>W</TD><TD>L</TD><TD>SV</TD><TD>ERA</TD><TD>IP</TD><TD>HA</TD><TD>R</TD><TD>ER</TD><TD>BB</TD><TD>K</TD><TD>CG</TD><TD>SHO</TD></TR><TR class=g2><TD class=s1_2>2003, A</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5.77</TD><TD>53.0</TD><TD>61</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>24</TD><TD>17</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>1</TD></TR><TR class=g><TD class=s1>2003, AA</TD><TD>12</TD><TD>12</TD><TD>4</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>3.50</TD><TD>90.0</TD><TD>84</TD><TD>38</TD><TD>35</TD><TD>47</TD><TD>22</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Well I couldn't be anymore happier to end off the year the way I did. I was able to get back to .500 and my strikeouts shot up while my walks were non-exsistent and my ERA was low. I will now wait to see if I get called up to the majors, but Detroit is the worst team so it's not like tehy are making a run for the playoffs. Overall I am pretty happy with the way my year went. My biggest problem is consistency but that can be fixed. I didn't get any talent bumps yet but my points shot up, especially in velocity and control. Here's the end of the year stats:

<TABLE class=s0><TBODY><TR class=g><TD class=s1>Year</TD><TD>G</TD><TD>GS</TD><TD>W</TD><TD>L</TD><TD>SV</TD><TD>ERA</TD><TD>IP</TD><TD>HA</TD><TD>R</TD><TD>ER</TD><TD>BB</TD><TD>K</TD><TD>CG</TD><TD>SHO</TD></TR><TR class=g2><TD class=s1_2>2003, A</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5.77</TD><TD>53.0</TD><TD>61</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>24</TD><TD>17</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>1</TD></TR><TR class=g><TD class=s1>2003, AA</TD><TD>18</TD><TD>18</TD><TD>7</TD><TD>7</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>3.60</TD><TD>135.0</TD><TD>123</TD><TD>58</TD><TD>54</TD><TD>65</TD><TD>63</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Well during the postseason I was called up to AAA so that's cool. One step closer to the Biggies. New York swept Philadelphia in the world series and now to the offseason...

Finally I made it to the BIg Leagues...I had some awesome starts on both leagues...my ERA in the ILB is a little high but the record is what matters:

probably more rewarding if you finally make it to the majors after 10 seasons on horror then quickly making it to the majors on easy level.
