Post First poster....and an actual suggestion....

Yeah....I'm the first one to suggest something in the official suggesiton thread, so here goes.

I'd like it to be possible to be a manager once your playing career ends in ITP. Not a GM mind you, but just a regular manager managing the games and having to deal with the bad/good decisions of the computer GM. This may be a lot to ask, but I think it would add to the replayability of the game.

Would you have to work your way up throught the minors or would you be thrust onto the scene directly in the majors.

I think it would be great to try and be a coach or scout... if you choose to be a coach or scout, the level you are offered a job to start at should vary dependent on your skill when you were in the majors.

It could be neat to continue in your baseball life after you retire from active playing... (and give you a chance to "make a comback" if the game doesn't just end at retirement.

I think this would be a good idea.

ScottVib going bye what you said about going by how you played In the majors....better hope you were not that good If you want to be a Major League Manager.

For some reason more scrubs become great managers then great players do......

That's exactly what I thought. Bump to see if anyone else has any opinions on this.

good ideas guys BUT since ITP will be based on a player how about being able to import that player as a scout or coach into OOTP. I read somewhere in this board about the plan to allow for us to go back and forth with a player between OOTP and ITP (which is very interesting) being able to transfer a player to OOTP so he could be a coach, scout, etc. would be great!

Anyone know how much this game is expected to cost? i'm guessing around the same price as OOTP.

You know what they say...

Those who can't do, teach.

Maybe that is why the as you say scrubs are the ones that you see coaching. Not to say there are not alot of the really good players of the past coaching, but...

Which explains why I coached football rather than played it during college. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

YP, from what I've heard and read on the .400 studios site the pricing is supposed to be fairly consistent for all games... so probably the 29.90 price all over again. (Of course this is a guess)

Would you happen to know if it will be a download game (like OOTP) or will it be released in stores or will there be both versions (like STB/OOTP)?

But still some time until release, the initial retail version of STB wasn't put for a few months after OOTP3's release (August I believe).
