Determining Your Character

I know the guys at OOTP are still a little unsure how to approach managing the players.

Well here's a suggestion on how to determine your character.

There used to be a very simple game on the computer a few years back where you determine you persons life- starting off as a baby, its like a choose your own adventure.

The point is, to start te game maybe you could get asked a series of questions about the players childhood, and you can answer whatever you like from a list of options. After you answer these things, when starting the actual game and getting the player at 18 or whatever, he will have a detailed character(attributed to the answers you gave about his childhood..) etc, just an idea.

I know the game you're talking about. I think it's called Alter-Male (or female if you play the female version). You can still get it at some abandonware sites.

Yeah, I was thinking on ways that the .400 Team could approach this aspect of the game, and that sure sounds like a mighty fine idea!!

I'll have to check that game out, to get a better idea of what questions could be asked to the game player.

Cuss16,
If you are asking about the Alter-Ego game...
You don't have to save, it saves automatically and you just go back to the website and click 'Continue Saved Game Here'
